Strategies for Infant & Toddler Development

Each of these micro learning modules focuses on developmental differences in the areas of cognition, social emotional development, communication, and physical development that might indicate a need for screening, referral, and/or intervention. Strategies to support developmental progress and resources to share and explore are provided. Each module can be viewed in isolation for on the go information (no credit) or bundled by age group to receive Ohio Approved credit. The following bundles can be selected:

This series of mini lessons provides an overview of development across social-emotional, cognitive, communication, and physical domains for infants 2-6 months of age. Each lesson gives suggested milestones to notice and real-life support strategies for parents and professionals. In order to receive professional development credit all lessons in the series must be completed.
